Yeah, for me flying without 'ral' weather and "ral" clouds is boring so i love that prog Also skies at daytime can be different, deeper blue etc.
But ASV also simulates fog much better than default fs9. Really, i can't imagine flying without it anymore...

asv have much of a hit on fps?

whats the differance when running it and using fsp without it?

asv itself none but it depends on your clouds. If you have lots of 3d clouds it will go down but you can download from the asv site several resolution
sets for the clouds and you can also use dxt clouds, the framerate hit is minor then. With lots of clouds, near eham (cloud9 addon, framerate killer),
addon plane with framerate kiiling cockpit i still do get 20+ frames (amd 3500, 1 GB mem, 6600GT)
But which kills the frames most is clouds so if your pc is not up to date, use the lowest resolution or dxt (again, still very good looking)
