Last week our house got burgled so now have no PC going to buy one off ebay tomorow i need your advice will a 2 ghz pentium 4 with
1gb of ddr 400mhz memory and a NVidia 256mb DDR AGP8x X vision 6200 graphics card be stable enough to play FSX? also my user
name and password for fs passengers was stored on the system so i now dont have it does anyone know how i can retreive the
password by email? Thanks

I played FSX plenty well on an Athlon 2.4GHz w/ 2 gigs of ram and an NVidia 256 AGP 6800. You won't be able to max the graphics all the
way up, but it can still look nice enough.

P.S. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Some people have no respect.

Hmmm...Do you mean Athlon 2400 or clockspeed 2.4 ???
Let me start: The PIV 2.0 is about THE WORST CPU one could get....minus the 1.5 -1.8Ghz series. They can't stand up performance-wise
to an Athlon XP2400- let alone an Athlon with 2.4Ghz clockspeed. A Nf6800 and NF6200 are about as comparable as apples and
pineapples - both are fruits A 6800 was the intended for the upper level when released (well at least from Nvidia) until it was
succeded by the 7series - that's when it became a midrange adaptor. The 6200 was intended for the low expectations "consumer level"
and to make matters worse - the vast majority of them are TC(Turbocache) cards, which will use your system's memory up to a certain
extent.....go figure....

NCL_UK.....when you get this rig stay with FS9 not to be disappointed. Looking at the cpu I even expect the harddrive NOT to be ATA133
but a 5.400rpm ATA100 at best (as that was standard when the CPU was 'hot') so it won't be a screaming performer.

First I wish to tell you my support and solidarity about the bad thing you have got. The bastards who stole things to individuals not only
stole stuff but also parts of their life.
I can keep (beside the disaprooval) some respect to someone wh stole a whole collectivity but few to each individuals.
But I can't have any consideration for someone stoling directly in the pocket or the house of another person.

I would advise you to go on the higher config you can, I have a 3.2 ghe processor and and 1Gb ram and in some configurations and
sceneries I fall to some 3 fps.
So , put all you can for a fast processor, then ASAP, upgrade the RAM and later on the graphic board.

Thank u all for your support and comments i have emailed dan still not heard anything for my password yet i bought a comp
which shud be good to run fs9 so gonna stick to that at the moment

on ebay try HP they do a special second hand service its pcs which have been brought in with problems and have been repaired and put on sale

also sorry for your troubles i know what it feels like
