Jetways are stuck

Okay, I did a search and didn't find anything on this. Has anyone tried to swing the jetways and succeeded? Mine aren't moving. Maybe I
missed something (probably). I made the fuel truck call and it informed me that I was number 1 in line for fuel. When I opened the cargo
doors, the conveyor truck and baggage tug drove over and put the loading ramp right in the cargo hold. But, the jetway control never did a
thing. I tried slewing right to the line, setting parking brake, shutting down and starting the apu, etc. Nothing seemed to do the trick.

More experimenting today. Gonna move my UT folders over to FSX along with the traffic.bgl, put my custom sounds in the sound.ai
folders and see what happens. Also, gotta make those changes that Matt Fox listed on his site/blog. See what kind of performance
boost I get.

OH! OHHH!!!!!! (A la Sam Kinison!)

I just got the jetways moving and it's wild! First, they roll forward to the plane, then change height, then slide sideways and dock (even
shake like there's a rookie inside! ) - finally, the hood comes down over the aircraft! Love the details! I need to make a video - where's
my fraps?

I'm also looking for the pax animations,as I have Smartshader 2.0.

Yeah - simple: you have to check Advanced Animations on the Graphics tab of the Scenery settings. That's it.

Oh, your video card also has to support SmartShader 2.0.

I made a video today but it was too big to upload.

I'll have to trim it down - it shows the jetways, baggage tugs and conveyor trucks, fuel trucks, forklifts, etc. tooling around my plane. They
do run a bit slow, though. Ramp spped limit is still 25mph, right? I think they're sometimes doing about 2!

Just tried the jetway feature of FSX and it worked great. Landed the 744 at JFK. Took a while to connect but it worked perfectly. Make sure you hit the parking alignment!

Yeah, they are VERY slow - not as slow as the conveyor truck and baggage tugs, though! I'll have to check the files for the speed setting -
maybe I can hike that up a couple dozen notches.

Also, as long as you're in the parking area (think of it as the circle drawn by an afcad file), the jetway will connect. It might look stupid but,
it will find you. I haven't tried parking backwards yet - that would be interesting!

Still looking for the fix to make pre-FSX aircraft trigger the jetway. I'm thinking it's in the [Exits] section of the aircraft.cfg file. The old ones
just have the number of exits. FSX also adds the location, like the station points - I'll bet that tells the jetways where to go, the baggage
trucks, etc.
