Question about payloads

I've noticed that there alot of different payloads in the download section and talked about in this forum. My question is If I install the different
payloads for the same type of plane i.e. 747-400 or 737-400, Can I change the payloads for that aircraft. What I'm saying is I'm currently using
MelJet's 747-400, I get a passenger count of 398 fully loaded. Then I see there is a download for a 747-400D with a passenger load of 589 fully
loaded( I think). How can I use that passenger load for that same MelJet 747?

download the file, extract the files into the FSP's payload_model directory and maybe u m,ight have have to rename the ini file so that FSP recognizes
it with the title of ur plane
load upfs9
and that about it
