Bugs with the new update

Hello again
So I purchased FSP, installed it after some trouble shooting, and got it up and running. I transferred all my data from my old FSX FSP to the steam
edition one (Basically moved the database folder). Doing my first flight, I've noticed some bugs
1. When i go to change settings during a flight, all of them are changeable. IT says "Some options are limited because youre in a flight, end the
flight to get more options. But theyre all there and nothing is greyed out
2. When i go to the settings menu and look over something and hit the close button, it asks if I want to save my changes. Even when i dont make
changes, this pops up. It pops up every time i close a setup menu from FSX
3. The Minidisplay window will freeze up, and after i hit the inflight report, it says "Sorry, no jump allowed" and the flight ends

I've done research such as run it with no other programs and even reinstalled FSP, but these issues are still here. I'm stuck and I need help. Thanks!

Hi Marble,

1-I just tried somes of the options where the warning appear are grayed out as expected. Maybe the help should say "Some" instead of "Most" ?
Else do you have a screenshot ?



2-This is normal, the "change flag" is set when you use a drop down control to select another option. Even if you select back the same option the
"change flag" is set.

3-This is more serious but I can't reproduce this problem on my computer.
What are the exact circumstance, what plane, ho much time into flight, can you post the FsPassengers/log.txt after it happened ?

I'm also having the same issue, if I keep the menu busy (click on it for food music or something,every few minutes or so, seems to keep alive) other wise it freezes the
Mini Display.
Do a right click to get the option menu and click cancel, the MD then becomes active and crashes right after saying not allowed to jump.

It does it to me with pretty much any plane

I also back this up, I got win10 and FSXSE, I did multiple clean installs without any addons, even Formated windows 10 again. I got the exact same
problem in maybe 8/10 flights. All the buttons freeze on mini display, then right click on it seems to unfreeze it ,but the airplanes goes into
turbulence (scared passengers and visually the plane goesup and down) and right after that it crashes with No jumps Allowed.

I did like 10 or more reactivation's of fspassengers, now i wonder if they will run out soon. If this doesn't get fixed though doesnt matter since i
stopped using it till i see that this is fixed.

Also to add, that this problem was there before the last update. I did make a forum post on this few months ago but i cant find it anywhere now

Can you post the FsP log.txt after this happens so that Dan can see it?

As i said, before the crash happens, all the buttons on the mini display are frozen (seatbelts wont turn off, service of drinks wont start) so i right
click to enter the settings on the minidisplay. i just exit it after that without changing anything and fspassengers is crashing.
This flight was with many addons ,but its the same thing happenign to me after a format and clean install. i dont have a log from back then though.

Just curious, one other user with -SE had a black screen problem and figured out he needed to activate DX10 preview. Any chance you could try this if
you haven't already? I'm not suggesting this could be the reason for freezing windows. It could be something else not at all related to FsP.

Mine is disabled, The only thing i didnt try was to reinstall FS After the December update. i just installed the most recent passengers but on the few
months old installation, I just did a fresh FS installation with the updated Fspassengers and made 2 flights (50 minute flights) with no crash so far.
will repost again once i get more on this.

It seems its indeed fixed, i didnt have eve one "no jumps allowed" crash after i made a fresh install on my fs Steam edition and installing the last version of fsp. on 10
flights i didnt have even one dropped flight.
