[Solved] FSPassengers starts up fine then just quits while in flight

This is a new one on me.

Started a flight today from KPHX (Phoenix Sky Harbor) to KLAS (Las Vegas McCarran Intl) and after about 5 minutes into the
flight,
FSPassengers just stopped working! I had already set a movie playing and was waiting to set up service to the passengers.

There wasn't even a mini report to be seen and when you went into the menu it showed that you hadn't even set a flight up.

Up until today everything has been working great.

Only change that I have made to anything was to update my graphics driver which should not have had any effect on FSPassengers.

All my other add-ons (GSX Ground Services, etc) worked perfectly. Just FSPassengers quit working.

After landing I went into the menu and was able to set everything up for a flight just as if nothing had happened.

Did a search and did not find anything referencing this particular problem.

Would appreciate any input from anyone.

Here are my current system specs:
Windows 7 Professional w/Service pack 1
Display Adaptor: AMD Radeon HD 6570 w/1 GB memory
Installed memory: 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system

I suppose you purchased FSP. (The demo has restricted departures)

Did you tried to go back to a prevous restore point?

First of all, why is it when anyone has problems with FS Passengers X or FS Passengers the first thing you see is "DID
YOU BUY IT"??

In this case Andre, yes I did, all the way back in 08-20-09 and I have my damn purchase receipt if anyone wishes
to authenticate it! I have no need for running this in a demo version as I did 10 years ago with the original FS Passengers!

Now, as to this particular problem, as you will notice in my original posting I stated that this started happening right after I had updated my
video driver.

After doing a lot of research online I finally tracked it down to a program that AMD installed along with my updated driver, namely "raptr"
which can be found at raptr.com.

It appears that lots of people are po'ed with this product because 1) They were not aware that it was being installed (no mention of it was
made anywhere during the installation of the video driver) and 2) It don't work that great too boot!!!

After having uninstalled this little program of no value I have noticed that 1) FS Passengers X is working perfectly again and 2) that my
computer no longer has that noticeable lag it had when raptr was installed.

So here is a possible fix should anyone else have this same type problem, and God help you if you haven't purchased FS Passengers X,
that may help you out.

Cap'n, Andre did mention the possibility of your FsP being still a demo. I don't think he meant any harm in his statement.

At any rate, glad you got the issue worked out.
