Folks
,
I've managed to stuff up my FSX install (think it was when I tried to uninstall Flight Deck 6 - seems to have upset the Microsoft .net installation as
well) - it keeps freezing and crashing to desk top
. (BTW: I'm pretty certain this is "self inflicted"
and not anything to do with FSP -
it's been working fine for a while).
I've clocked up a fair few hours on FSP
and am just getting to the stage where I can fly decent sized turbo props
- I'd really like to
be able to save my progress and, once FSX and FSP are re-installed, would like to drop in any files I need to save to allow me to carry on
Any advice on:
- which files do I need to back up and where are they
(Pretty standard install folders for me)
- has anyone done this before
(I'd like some confidence around the above - I know I'll only get one shot !)
Thanks for your help,
Rob
