FSP and VATSIM

First off, my congratulations to you for a first rate addon! I have purchased it, and love the enhanced ambience and features it offers. I
am an avid flight Simmer, to include an ATC on VATSIM, (http://www.vatsim.net) out of KZME. I have also flown for South West airlines
several years now on VATSIM. After reading the forum, there was not a message regarding vatsim. (My apologies if I over-looked it).
The docummentation is vague regarding flying with an existing VA online. I have over 500+ hours online with SWA. When setting up
FSP, how can I reflect my online hours and not have to create another VA and Pilot? Or, it that mandatory that I do? I do not want to
manage the VA, (as it already has exisiting VA managers). thank in advance for your reply.

When you create your airline and pilot, DO NOT chose career mode. That way you'll be able to fly anything you want. Also, make sure that you set the
failure rate at 0%, disable the dangerous/war areas and keep your aircraft well maintained. That way you shouldn't have a failure when flying on
VATSIM (since Failures are not allowed online).

Thats not true. VATSIM does allow for emergencies but hijackings are the only thing not allowed.

Sorry, I was under the impression that you had to request the permission to carry out an emergeny while flying in VATSIM. If that's the case FsP might
cause you trouble because it randomly causes emergencies.

Only if you set it to. I have mine to set emergancies based on MX work on the aircraft. Anyway, the only time you would be denied is if the controller
was under a massive work load. In real life, all other traffic is sent to another frequency, or someone looks over the controllers shoulder to
instruct other aircraft, while the one controller deals only with the distressed plane.
