Overloaded payloads

I have found that FFX's 737-300 and Project Opensky's 757-200 are overloaded at the start of my flight before I even load passengers on board
. I find that I'm reducing the amount of fuel I'm carrying just so I can lower my MTOW. I'm not sure if this was addressed already, I was wondering is
there a fix for this.

What is your current weight? If you post your aircraft.cfg (copy and paste it when it's in the overloaded state), we can be of more
assistance.

go to airliners.net and search for your aircraft in the data an history section and make sure all the info u have is correct

I think I have found an answer!

POSKY currently has two models of the 757-200 for download.

One is a straight -200, and one is a -200W with winglets and only the Rolls-Royce engines. I was looking at the aircraft.cfg file for both
and here's what I found.

For the -200:

[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]
max_gross_weight = 256000.000
empty_weight = 188000.000

For the -200W:

[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]
max_gross_weight = 256000.000
empty_weight = 136940.000


LOOK AT THE HUGE DISCREPENCY! That's where all of our fuel is going, Andre! I just checked the airliners.net site and for the PW-
2040 series engined 757 the empty weight is 127,500lbs, and for the RR engine variant it's 127,800lbs, so I'm much more inclined to
believe that an empty weight of 136,940 is reasonable.

I think we've found our glitch. I am currently at the POSKY forums asking about it right now, let's see what they say.

I have a confirmation:

"probaly an old FDE for the United Warren has made full new FDE's for the 757 series he released it at the same time we released the
757-200W"


Change you weight to about 136,00lbs pounds and all is fine. You can take 100% fuel, load all the passengers you want, and you even
have a little room for some cargo! AWESOME.

Also, if you'd like you can edit your aircraft information to accurately match that of real world specs. Don't have that problem with PMDG
though

Yes but PMDG costs money and POSKY doesn't. ;-)

Trust me that PMDG or LevelD are excelent choices of aircraft.
They are worth the money! If you are thining of serious flight simulator, then you will know both are excelent packages to get
