[Solved] PMDG and sounds issue...

Yesterday I had my first flight with the PMDG.The cockpit sounds are excellent.Makes me feel like in the real
thing.Anyway I was
approaching the landing airport and the RA callouts started twice like 2500 2500,1000 1000,50 50,40 40,30 30
and so.And I got a don't
sink warning when it was not really a sinking rate(don't know why).Anyway I was searching the manual and it says
in page5 in the co pilot
section you can enable/disable some of the sounds.I searched on how to do this but couldn't get a
result.Searched the forum too.What I
am asking is,is it possible to choose which GPWS and co pilot sounds to play in FsP(a complete list with
selections)?.I want to turn off
the RA callouts from FsP and just hear the PMDG RA callouts but I also want the copilot to call me 80 knots and
60 knots after landing
and also his inflight warnings.Thanks in advance.Greatest add on I've ever seen.

I don't think FSP is selective enough as to being able to choose what callouts are heard/not heard. I know that you can completely
disable the GPWS and altitude callouts, but I don't think you can individually select which are heard and which aren't.

Ok then I completely disabled the FsP GPWS.I am still getting the copilot sounds right?

I may be wrong here but cant you just delete the sounds from Fsp, that way they wont play?.
If I am being thick then feel free to ignore me :-)

Thought of the same thing but then I thought what if I get multiple errors while landing then cancelled the idea .

Yeah, I wouldn't chance it. You might be able to delete them, but who would wanna ruin a 3 hr flight with errors in the approach (for the
wav's that were deleted)? You could always replace them with blank sound files if you'd like. If you disable GPWS you will still here the
copilot sounds.

No need to delete anything. I'm using FSPassengers with LevelD767 and I encountered the same problem. Just take a look at the
preferences in FSP and you'll find a choice to disable GPWS in one of the screens. DO NOT just lower the FPS GPWS volume to zero...
disable it for all aircrafts. You'll still here the inflight warnings and speed call outs after landing.

General note: if you want to disable any files for flightsimulator, just rename them (like add an 'x' to the file extension or something like
that). That way you can easily reenable them later.

the good way is of course to disable the GPWS in the setup but for information
you can delete sound that you don't want it will not harm FsP, if a sound was
not loaded or not found FsP simply don't play it.
