Not sure if anyone has tried them, but I've just tried buying an Aero Commander AC500, 560 and 680. All of them come up as Bad
Choice and Terrible Choice.

Only because of total time on airframe being very high. As a personal choice I find them excellent aircraft. Descent speed and range, and
in my game AVGAS is cheaper than Jet A, so economical as well. ![]()

They work well in FSP, and the Milton Shupe ACs are VERY NICE. The FSP text saying they're "high priced" or a "bad choice" is pretty much worthless.
I never pay attention to it. ![]()
300,000 km/sec. Its not just a good idea, its the law.

The ac500vc1.zip file at Avsim is very much a "go-to" plane. I keep one is just about every fleet I have.

Just keep them maintained and they work like a dream. They are really easy and economical to fly. I had two in my last fleet until I
decided to reset and start over. I plan to get a few more as soon as I can fly them. ![]() Charlie don't surf! |
