Update.. Is the update on hold till FSX comes out?

Look at it this way gentlemen....let's assume the worse that not only is FSP incompatible with FSX, but FSX has it's own Microsoft version
of FSP....no big deal and I'll tell you why...even after FSX comes out there will be plenty of people for a long while that either will wait to see
what kind of problems and bugs FSX has or will simply not have the money to upgrade their system. In any case, those that choose to
wait will happily fly the FS2004/FSPassengers skies!

I thought FSX was coming out "holidays" 2006? Maybe in U.S.A. maybe different in different countries?

The reality is that FSX is very closely integrated with Vista. Vista has already been delayed until Q1 07 and I am sure FS will follow suit. I
personally think we will see both FSX and Vista in ~ 11 months around next March.

With that being said, the only updat ei would like to see is Dan release the save flight option some were testing in Beta and we can choose for
ourselves if it works or not. It beats not even being able to try. I do not need it for leaving the computer so pausing FS does me no good, I need
it for testing FS and having it crash on me. Nothing like an 11 hour flight not being recorded because FS crashed on final... Other than that, I
know the last update was supposed to add a third hot meal and it never happened. That would be a bonus...

One things for sure, if FsX is delayed I'll work anyway this summers
for a new release with some bug fixe and some news features.

Whenever, you get around to doing it, Dan, Could you possibly make some of the parameters available for modifications within an .ini file,
such as the x50 multiple. Some users may like to have that larger and in my case, I would like to be able to reduce it. An .ini file would be
quite useful for users to alter things a little more to their taste.

I guess I should clarify what I mean...

Currently the x50 multiple is set relatively permanently once the scenario starts. What I am looking for is an external way to vary the x50
parameter as the scenario/airline grows over time.

Frankly, I love FSP the way it is. Also, when FSX comes out, it will be geared toward Windows Vista operating system, correct? Even when
Vista is available, I'm not going to rush out and buy a new motherboard,etc, right away. I will wait until most of the bugs are worked out of
it before I buy Vista and FSX.
