Changing pilot points

Hi!              
Basically in the title. Is there anyway I could edit the pilot points? I know it's cheating, but can you really cheat in a single-player game?      
I even have a kinda good excuse for it. I'm flying with a Cessna and I almost every time I get a penalty for incorrect flap settings at take-off. Now if I am interpreting the checklist correctly I don't even have to set flaps for take-off. I tried every setting, and I got a penalty anyway. Now my points are so far behind my pilot hours, I will never catch up. Especially since you get a 30% penalty if you use time acc. (What's up with that anyway? Are you supposed to sell your soul if you want to play this or something?)

No, you cannot edit pilot points. Pilot points are hard coded into the program by the developer. Basically there are cheats already built into the program. The documentation that comes with the software explains much about it. Have you attempted to review the documentation?
I'll go ahead and address the flaps problem. You are correct that many small aircraft do not require flaps on takeoff, but many do. There are options for you to consider: A) Set one notch of flaps anyway and takeoff. You won't get a penalty, but don't raise the flaps immediately after takeoff or you may get a penalty...below 200 ft. B) Disable the flaps set penalty by going into the main FsP folder---->Open the Config folder----->Look for more_options.cfg, open it-----> Look for DisableFlapCheck-----> "0" is default for enabling it. Put a 1 in its place----->Hit save and close the file. Go fly. Enable it again by replacing 1 with 0 and save. Go fly.

Also, within the more-options.cfg is DisableTimeAccelerationCheck. Do the same as I outlined above. You shouldn't get another time warp penalty. As for the last remark you made, if you had reviewed documentation and took time to know the software and searched the forum, you would not have made the remark. Does that pretty much cover it?

I usually use one notch of flaps but I've always raised them right after I left the ground. So probably that's it. I knew about the option to turn them off, I just thought that it's a bug.

What I didn't know about is the " DisableTimeAccelerationCheck", that will help a lot.
