It's fine to wonder - just realize that some of us who do check daily have seen a lot of similar questions lately. So the answer is as follows
(this is the last time I'm going to say it! Take notes if you have to ![]() It will be ready when Dan is done coding it and feels that it is release quality. No time estimates, unless you want me to be like Microsoft! Windows Longhorn will be ready in 2003 and Blackomb/Vienna (version after Longhorn/Vista) by 2005. Besides, why are you so desperate to upgrade to FsX anyway? Speaking for myself and more than likely 90% of the forum: I get much better framerates at higher detail levels when running many add-ons with Fs9 than by default with FsX. . . . accepted, Alex - and thanks. You've just told me you're a decent guy, and so my faith is humanity is restored!. .
I can understand XM Dude's query, though. I sure miss FS Pax too. I was half-way through a nine-leg D/F B727 flight across the States when I purchased FSX, and - like everyone else - I've been tweaking and fiddling to "get it right" since then. It's pretty good now - high detail and 20 - 30 fps most everywhere, but now I can't put it down. Regards,
