First off, Microsoft has *finally* released the final version of the newest addition to their decrepit browser line. Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/down...fault.mspx to download it.
In Vista news, a sign appeared outside Microsoft's Redmond campus a few days ago saying "9 Days Until Vista RTM!!!" Thus, Vista is expected to RTM on
the 25th of this month. However, this will not mean it will be released to the public this month, oh no. The final version of Vista will be
compiled on the 25th. The Business and Enterprise editions will be released sometime in November; Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, and Ultimate
will have to wait until late January at least. See http://www.msfn.org/comments.php?shownews=18546
For a bit of Vista/Longhorn nostalgia, well, remember the Aero Rock Video from the PDC2003 conference that Paul Thurrott posted with a handheld video
cam? He has now released the full, uncut, real video on MSN Soapbox. Check it out at http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/win...old_02.asp
or http://soapbox.msn.com/video.aspx?vid=8b...c95ba80430 .
Please Note: According to Thurrott, there is a good chance that Micro$oft will remove this video in the near future, so soak its glory up
while you have the chance.
