How to run with PMDG 737NGX without fuel and PAX - Stubbin - 29-05-2014 I am trying to figure out how to get FSPAX to go through the motions (play the boarding sounds, etc) but not actually try to load passengers and fuel into the NGX. I found a post that said to: 1) In FSPAX Go to "Manifest Dialog" line, and choose "do not show the load After aircraft manifest load" 2) Load the aircraft in FSX, open FMC and Load the Fuel and Pax Only, then set the payload to Zero for both FWD and AFT Cargo. 3) Open FS Passengers and Load the Pax with the number thats the same as step 2 4) In the FMC load the cargo Problem is I am lost at step 1. Where is the "Manifest Dialog" line, and the option to" not show the load after aircraft manifest load". Can someone please write out simple steps to follow? Also while we are on the topic of PAX boarding... I also use GSX and have been unable to find a way to disable the audio in GSX and have FSPAX handle the audio while GSX handles the PAX BUS and cargo trucks. Anyone else running GSX with FSPAX? Thanks! Re: How to run with PMDG 737NGX without fuel and PAX - Joeflyer - 29-05-2014 See this thread.....works the same as 777: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9229 I never have loaded paxs or cargo via the FMC...EVER, and I get good results by loading them via FsP. I don't have GSX and cannot make a comment about it. Post Edited ( 05-29-14 14:05 ) Re: How to run with PMDG 737NGX without fuel and PAX - Stubbin - 29-05-2014 When FSP is done, if I open the FMC will it show a passenger count? I think GSX uses this to determine how long to play the cargo animations and bus/deboarding stairs. Also, what does line 1 ") In FSPAX Go to "Manifest Dialog" line, and choose "do not show the load After aircraft manifest load"" above mean? It makes no sense. Re: How to run with PMDG 737NGX without fuel and PAX - Joeflyer - 30-05-2014 As stated earlier, I cannot comment on how GSX works since I don't use the program. Have you inquired on their forum if they have one? Regarding your last question above: In order to make FsPassengers works with the PMDG NGX In FsPassenger setting first page (General Setup): Go to FSPX Folder then BIN Folder. Execute Aircraft Browser. See if PMDG 737 NGX is inside the list. Close it Then launch FSX. In FSP Menu Go to "Manifest Dialog" line, and choose "do not show the load After aircraft manifest laod"....don't forget to hit "Save" in PMDG 737 NGX - Go to the "FS Action Menu" in the FMC: Load the fuel needed for your flight plan in Playload Page (FMC): Click on SET EMPTY (0 passenger and 0 cargo) ONLY after all this Launch FSPassenger. (Fuel is already configured, just add your passengers and cargo) I good look at the first Sticky at the top of this forum would certainly have cleared up your questions except for GSX part. Post Edited ( 05-30-14 05:31 ) Re: How to run with PMDG 737NGX without fuel and PAX - Stubbin - 30-05-2014 1) There is no aircraft browser in the bin folder, however the is one in the Utilities folder. 2) In FSP I do not see anything that says "Manifest Dialog". What menu is it in? The sticky at the top is what's causing the confusion, it is not clear, for example there is no Aircraft browser in Bin and I can not find "Manifest Dialog" or "do not show the load After aircraft manifest laod" anywhere in FSPassengers X. Can you tell me exactly where I can find it? Note: I am using the latest version Re: How to run with PMDG 737NGX without fuel and PAX - Joeflyer - 31-05-2014 1) You are getting stuck on this subject...no need to. It is only to verify the PMDG 737 is in the aircraft browser, which I'm quite sure it is. Don't spend any time fretting over this one. 2) Let me try to explain this one more time. I don't know where or how you missed the part about starting up FSX to access the FsP General settings: A) Start FSX... B) Select Free Flight C) Load any aircraft you want to at any location of your choice D) Once you have completed C) and you have a cockpit or airplane on your screen, press the ALT key on your keyboard to bring up the FSX menu at the top of your screen. E) You should see FsPassengers tab some place in the menu at the top of your screen. Left click on it and this drops down a menu of things to choose from. F) Move your mouse to "FsPassengers Setup". By hovering your mouse over this brings up a secondary menu to the right of it G) Within that secondary menu, click on "General Setup" H) The 8th item from the top of this section you will see "Manifest dialogue"....look to the right of this item and you will see "Show the load manifest after aircraft load". This is selected by default. So, look to the right and you will see a down arrow. Click on it and you will see another selection to choose from...."Don't show the load manifest after aircraft load". Select THAT statement and make sure it is the one visible. I) Save changes J) Close...this will exit out of FsP menus. You are then free to enjoy your flights. You can go back and change step H) back to "Show the load manifest" if you are flying an aircraft other than the PMDG 737 or 777. I have had ZERO issues with the MD-11 or 747 by showing the load manifest after aircraft has been loaded. Re: How to run with PMDG 737NGX without fuel and PAX - Stubbin - 31-05-2014 Thanks Joe! That was very clear, I did not know it was in the general settings! Have a good night/day!
