Blow outs - ollie2011uk - 31-08-2011

I'm getting really annoyed with the blow outs on this game! Just landed a learjet at 130knts and still a blow out! - Sorry if i am being an idiot but the fix for the blow outs in the forum sticky section suggests to change the settings to 250 KIAS so wont hitting the ground at 130-140 cause a blow out?

So far there has been no "fix" for tyre blow-outs; the sticky in this section is a fix for flaps and slats blow-outs.

Thanks whiskey - looks like from reading other posts i'm going to have to try and cut down on how long i use the autopilot on an ils approach!

HiSmile The thing that blows the "tires" is the descent rate NOT the airspeed. Touchdown at less than 140 FT/SEC and everything will be tea and
crumpets or in my area beer and hotdogs.
Beer

P.S. I just read my own post and thought I might add that you can not come screeming in at 400 KTS and not blow your tires. cheers

I think you meant feet per minute. 140ft/sec is 8,400ft/min. Rolleyes
