Re-install FS04 - Spark - 30-06-2007
I have reinstalled FS04 - but how do I now get FsPassengers to work. I copied and pasted the folder into the FS04 folder but when I open
up FS it does not work...any ideas? Yes you are right, I am not very good with the inner workings of all this stuff.

You have to reinstall FsP, then unlock and [i]then[i] copy and paste in the database folder

I know this sounds simple - but there is no database folder in the FS04 folder. There is one in the FsPassengers folder but that doesn't
make sense to me. Any chance you can stupify that just a little more.

Have you used Fsp before? or is this your first time?
Are you trying to reload your previous flights, or just start out using fsp for the first time?

I had FSP but loaded it on my computer about a year ago. I was cleaning off my computer and decided - due to the fact that I had too
many downloaded planes on FS04 that I wanted to uninstall FS04 and then reinstall it. I did this and pulled the Fsp to my desktop and
was simply goingt to copy and paste it back into the FS04 Program Files page. However when I open FS04 it is not there.
I still have my Fsp on my computer but don't know how to get it on to my FS04. Thanks for the help! I love flying, but am not so hot with the
computer.

First backup you FsPassengers/Database folder (Important). Or even better backup the entire FsPassengers folder, as you already did it seems.
Next uninstall everything as usually.
Then install FS2004. And after that install FsPassengers using the FsP install file.
After FsP is installed, copy the files from the Database folder that you backed up before, and put them in to the database folder in the newly
installed FsPassengers.
(You can also copy files from the config folder (settings), and payload_model folder (Payloads, if you added any)).
Then start up FS2004, create a flight as normal, go to the FsP menu and register FsP.
Now everything should be good.

You forgot about the Fspassengers.dll file in the FS9 modules directory, no prob when you have the install file it will put it in modules
directory for you.
