Negative pilot points. - MonsterCheese - 22-06-2007 My pilot points have turned negative. I saw the question in the FAQ, but i have the latest version of FSP. Any ideas? Re: Negative pilot points. - ragingfred - 22-06-2007 its a glitch Re: Negative pilot points. - pegase - 22-06-2007 Same for me ![]() It seems to be tTHE reluctant insolvable bug in FsP. Whan you reach the c23 level, on next flight you are "promoted" with music and congratilations to the rank c0 student pilot ![]() rhere is a patch 791_C23_fix.zip. I tried it, the c23 rank was restored but, ending the next flight: "TADAAA congratulation you are now C0... bla bla... ". I think I will restaure the last backup of my database I did just before C23 promotion and try to apply the fix as soon as I get back the c23 rank. However, an efficient bug fix would be welcome ![]() Re: Negative pilot points. - MonsterCheese - 22-06-2007 Quote:ragingfred wrote:Your helpful ^.- Lol! Is there anyway to fix it without making a new pilot? I've racked up 5 hours with him (i know it might not seem alot to you, but it's a damn long time for me!) Re: Negative pilot points. - Daza XIII - 22-06-2007 You could try flying the way I do. We'll be on FS XX before I get to high enough to experience the glitch. ![]() Re: Negative pilot points. - MonsterCheese - 23-06-2007 Quote:Daza XIII wrote: What do you mean, high enough to expierience the glitch? Private Pilot and stuff like that... ![]() Re: Negative pilot points. - c210 - 28-06-2007 There is a very simple checklist for FSP, not at all as complex as real world ops but covers the basics. Takeoff * Beacon light before start * Belt sign, doors closed * Altimeter set * Flaps * landing light on * speed 250 kts * 10000' landing light off, speed to cruise * 18000' Altimeter to 1013/29.92 Decent/landing * 18000' Altimeter set * 10000' Landing light on * speed 250 kts * Belt sign * Flaps to appr * gear * after exiting runway, landing light off and flaps up * do not engage parking with aircraft moving That about covers it. Rest is common sense. Do not try to takeoff if aircraft is over MTOW, do not over run the runway, do not bust the speed limits, do not land with emergencies with 7700 not set on the xponder, stuff like that. I say, if your company has a lot of money, grab an A/C, go to Baghdad Intl, and just fly around for a few moments, after a while lots and lots of equipment and stuff are hit, and if you land safely you get tons and tons of points (note: If your hit and you don't think you can get back/can be bothered to get back to the airport, put scenery to 0, autogen 0, and land anywhere (not in water) and land safely! --Mods, close thread please-- Re: Negative pilot points. - c210 - 30-06-2007 Quote:Sakakawea wrote: Been there, done that, have the t-shirt ![]() Post Edited ( 06-30-07 09:05 ) |
