Rolled of Runway? - dannyboy2005 - 19-06-2007

Quote:At arrival airport you rolled at 35 kt beyond the edge of the runway without any emergency. The landing gear sustained some
damage and our company has received a fine of £199. (-175)

Flew from Southampton -> Glasgow and are using UK2000 scenery though out the UK and Glasgow EXtreame for Glasgow obv. I landed
with a bit of a bump because in turbalant weather, ILS didnt work so i flew it in manually (Right on the center line Smile)

unboarded and looked at report says the above. I had atleast another 1/5 of the runway to spare. Can you explain whats happened?

Thanks
Dan

Re: Rolled of Runway? - Drew - 19-06-2007

Did you install the afcad files that you can download from the uk2000 site?

You probably landed on what 'looked' like the runway on your screen, but according to FS9, you prob landed on some grass somewhere.

ps, moved to support Wink
