5.1 sound - aggu - 13-06-2007
I'm having trouble with surround sound. As soon as I start FSpax the sound drops to just the front speakers. (I'm using 5.1). I've
reinstalled game, FS2004, soundblaster card (audigy 2), and installed the latest drivers. I have even tried another sound card, and they all
drop to front speaker only.
Does FSpax support more than 2 speakers? or is there a way to change it through configurations. All speakers work in other games and
windows.

Errr - I have 5.1 surround sound too. Audgy Soundblaster 4 i think with Philips PC400 350Watt speakers
and i have never had this problem.
TRY...
get FS2004 disk 1, open it and go to 'Modules'
Cold the 'Sound.dll' file from the disk to your main fs dictory, this usually solves alot of problems. Something simular happened when
iinstalled the PMDG 737, it deleted my sound.dll and took me days to dignose what it was.

Hi there. I have the same problem with my sound.
It's 5.1, until I start FSPax, then it reverts to front audio channels only.
I couldn't find the Modules folder on Disk 1 of FS9, could you confirm disk 1 please? I'll happily replace the dll if I can find it.
I have had many wonderful hours with the LDS 767 and FSPax!
The icing on the cake would be to get the surround sound running.
