Re: End of Flight report - Allard - 13-03-2006

Hi,

Something like this happened to me also, see thread http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1724
I got an overspeed of 31671 kts and 95013 penalty points. Also is was bankrupted by the negative income (- 13 mln €)

This airspeed was also recorded by another tool I have running for logging flights so that is not a FSP error. After I turned off wake turbulence in
ActiveSky, it hasn't repeated itself.

Regards,
Allard.

You could also do with working on your landings Wink

Re: End of Flight report - FSfreak - 21-06-2006

true hehe

Re: End of Flight report - jetBlue220 - 21-06-2006

"It is considered bad practice to leave the strobes turned on when the aircraft is on the parking ramp. (-30)*"

This means you should NOT have the strobes on while you're on the ramp.. so, while you're sitting around at the gate, keep them off. Keep them on all
flight, I think, except on the ground... Not sure about that last part though.

Re: End of Flight report - Joeflyer - 21-06-2006

JETBLUE, I see that FSFreak indicated he turned off the strobes right after exited the runway and got the lights penalty anyway. It's
happened to me before. So, a person either has to turn off the strobes a second or 2 PRIOR to leaving the runway environment(after
landing) or disable the lights penalty. Even though the lights penalty is a small one, it sure is annoying..to say the least!

Re: End of Flight report - DanSteph - 21-06-2006

It may be due to parking brake applied ... FsP detect "parking" if "parking brake"
are applied. Solution: use normal brake instead of parking brake when taxiing
on airport.

Hope it help ?

Dan

Re: End of Flight report - Joeflyer - 21-06-2006

That's just it, Dan...I've never used the parking brake for any reason other than after taxiing to the gate to end the flight. Otherwise it's
normal braking from taxi start up from the gate to taxiing into the gate. I would frequently get lights penalty no matter how careful I was
about when to turn strobes on or off, so I just disabled the penalty. After all, in real time flying, I always have the strobes on, but I certainly
don't turn on the landing lights until I'm entering the runway environment. Anyway, I cured the FSP ills with the light penalty. It's a good
thing I don't get penalized in real time Smile
