Project Opensky 764 Question - DreRX8 - 15-09-2005 I'm fairly new to editing the payload models and what not--but I am having a problem with Posky 764 (the latest model). I adjusted it so that it is seating the right amount of passengers; however I still cannot fully load the plane with fuel and passengers without it being at least 110% overweight--and that's before I add any cargo. How would I go about 'increasing' the MGTOW? Can that be adjusted with FSPassengers or do I need to get into the config. of the actual aircraft some kind of way? Re: Project Opensky 764 Question - pagir - 15-09-2005 In fact, many "true" planes can't be loaded at max with PAX, fuel and Cargo without beeing overweighted a lot. So your payload model is probably better than you think ![]() Pagir Re: Project Opensky 764 Question - DanSteph - 15-09-2005 Anyway to be sure you can check your aircraft.cfg weight while browsing to this site: You have the 767-400 page here http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.main?id=105 look at "weight" section and check the aircraft.cfg here the main page with all aircrafts: http://www.airliners.net/info/ If all weight are ok then as said pagir on many airliner you cannot fully load the aircraft and take also the max fuel... Hope this help ? Dan Re: Project Opensky 764 Question - DreRX8 - 15-09-2005 While true you can't fully load the plane--but this is not the case with the POsky 764. With 200 passengers (capacity is about 240-250 depending on config) and full fuel its overweight--which isn't accurate. That's with 0 cargo as well. I am attempting to fly HNL-IAH as CO2; lifting off from 8R is hairy to say the least with enough fuel to make it with this config. Even with full flaps Its hard to get off the ground--in reality the 764 has much much better performance. Is it a specific flight dynamics problem with this model? How would I go about 'increasing' the MGTOW? Can that be adjusted with FSPassengers or do I need to get into the config. of the actual aircraft some kind of way? Oh--thanks for the replies btw.
