Brakes and altitude callouts - bbain - 11-09-2005

Since FSP includes its own altitude callouts and brake sound, I would like to disable these sounds that come with some planes I
downloaded. It's very annoying; it will do the same altitude callout twice and the second time it will be ear deafening, and the brake
sound that comes with one of my planes is very loud and doesn't stop even when you turn on the parking brake. I've looked in all my
config. files as well as my aircraft sound folder and have found nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

Ben

youll probably have the find the sounds in the particular aircraft youre speaking of sound folder, go to the sound.cfg and change
somethings in there. about turning off the gwps. which program are you talking about?

You can turn them off or adjust the volume of them in the FSP setup menus.

Re: Brakes and altitude callouts - SWAFO - 11-09-2005

As Eric mentioned ALL FSP sounds can be adjusted/disabled/enabled via the FSP menu.

Re: Brakes and altitude callouts - samiranks - 11-09-2005

well i think he was also talking of the sounds that came with the plane he downloaded. and he wanted to keep fsp sounds

Since FSP includes its own altitude callouts and brake sound, I would like to disable these sounds that come with some planes I
downloaded.

If you want to disable the sounds that come with aftermarket addon aircraft, you need to read the documentation for those planes, or
contact the manufacturer. We can't be of much assistance.

What Brad said is totally correct. If you're using an add-on sound pack in your aircraft/sound folder, then go in, find the "offending"
sounds, and either rename or delete them.

I would suggest renaming for starts because it may not work if they're not present. If they don't, plan B. Record one second of silence
and name it to that filename and then slip it in. Voila! Nothing. Smile
