FLEET INCOME & ai - moross - 24-08-2005

How can I earn money when i buy an AI aircraft ?? What is the procedure in order to work it ?? I have checked the fleet income when
creating a company, but i don't know how to continue this process.

And something else, i try to fly a 737-400 from Athens to Heathrow but the MTOW with 92% fuel, overolads the aircraft. How it is happen ??
What happens in the real flight from LGAV-EGLL with 737-400 ?? (i.e Olympic Airlines)

Thks

To answer your first question, for every extra aircraft you have in your fleet, they can make a flight whenever you fly. To get them to start, do
a few flights with one of your aircaft (like 4 or 5) and eventually the fleet will start flying aswell. You get paid depending on the number of
seats in the airplane.

For your second question, I find that some aircraft-the 737, 777 etc.-cannot carry a full tank of fuel without any cargo or PAX. It's because
the plane is setup to be able to carry more fuel than the max takeoff weight. What I do to change this is, in the aircraft.cfg file, I lower the
aircraft empty weight and raise the max takeoff weight. It requires a bit of experimenting to set the plane up the way you want it.
NOTE: Do not alter the aircraft .cfg file without creating a backup and be sure that you know what your doing before altering anything. On
a Fs9 stock aircraft, beside every line is and explenation of what changing it does and certain restriction to altering the file.

Hope this helps, I wish you best of luck.

I think what you are inquiring about is an AI that might fly around various flight paths like it normally would without running FSP.

FSP doesnt take this into consideration. What it does, is when you have other planes in your "fleet" whenever you fly FSP is designed to
act as though those planes, while you are flying, are flying as well, when in fact they arent. They are just planes you have purchased.

Technically they are not flying, but the perception is if you have fleet chosen, you get paid a fleet bonus when you fly around. Even if you
buy an AI aircraft, because it may be flying around in the sim, it doesnt mean you get paid for that AI traffic flight.

In response to the weight thing, it's very rare for a modern airliner to take a full tank of fuel, and impossible to take a full load of pax and
baggage AND a full tank of gas. It's all about balance, the only time any pax carrying aircraft will carry a full tank usually will be during
delivery and then only if it has to go to it's maximum ferry range, during which time the only people aboard will be 2 pilots and 2 copilots,
one is a spare crew to take over when the other crew's hours go over.

Brad could maybe tell you if I'm right about that.......
