pilot points erased? - spets - 23-08-2005 hey guys, I just upgraded my version from the initial release copy to the latest 8/10/05 version, and did a flight in a PMDG 737-700 in alaska.. I did the flight sucessfully, landed, got my 160 points, and then I find out I've been downgraded to a second officer! I look at my points, and there are 600 positive points and 500 or so negative points! I HAD a good 3000 points or so before I upgraded! The pilot log is still correct, it still shows my previous flights with correct amount of points awarded. however, the company manager is showing the different numbers and caused my demotion to a lower rank. It would be very unpleasing to have to redo all of those flights to get my points back. Is there a file I can edit in order to fix this? It appears that the information is in the database directory, which is encrypted from notepad, and it did not get backed up in the backup folder with the config files. Any help would be appreciated! Re: pilot points erased? - SWAFO - 23-08-2005 You should always back up your full FSP database folder, just in case something like this happens. Remember that! Re: pilot points erased? - spets - 23-08-2005 I thought about doing that, but figured since the program created a backup, it would do it for me.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() maybe dan can chime in with what he used to create/edit those .db files? Re: pilot points erased? - DanSteph - 23-08-2005 send me your whole database folder (ziped) I can edit your points... it's strange anyway your the first one to have such problems ??
