FSPassengers turns the Concorde into a lame duck... - jkendrix - 01-08-2005

I decided that I would give some FSpassengers a real treat and take them on a ride on Project Mach2's Concorde. FSPassengers reported that the plane
had 'too many stations" and that it would be happy to fix it. It did so, but then I noticed that I only had 1 engine for the Concorde flight. I
restored the aircraft.cfg and then reloaded the Concorde and all four came online.

It would be nice if FsPassengers could recognize the Concorde so the aircraft.cfg moving would not be necessary.

Guys at SSTSIM worked it out.

Here's the link:

...and you'll find some additional explanation at their forum.

Yep, this works great, but be very mean with the cargo (or even load none at all!)

cheers

Strange guys !

I'm the one who designed the specific payload model for Concorde during beta tests, and I made a perfect test flight Concorde using the
Koch/Media model ...
Note that I started from dark and cold...
I just had to edit the flaps section of the aircraft.cfg (like it's required for flight deck companion) so then FSP does't break the flaps at high
speed (+350 kts).

Anyway, so you start with engines running right ?
That's strange, as FSP only affect the weight section of aircraft.cfg !! So if FSP would only let one engine running, I don't understand how.

Glad you fixed your strange problem though Smile

I started from Cold and Dark as well. The problem is the Mach 2 Concorde requires more payload areas (that's what FSP thinks they are anyway) than
other planes. FSP modifies these so it will "work", and you get a Concorde with just one engine!!
