Important question - colincm - 10-04-2005 Hi Dan, I'm wondering if FSP will be ablie to resum from its "previous state" after I reboot FS9. In other words, if I start a long-haul flight from CYYZ to VHHH, and then after flying for 3 hours for example I save the flight, then close FS9 and the next day I reload the flight to continue. Will FSP be able to "save" the all statistics and other status? Or FSP works only when I start a new flight and if trying to load from a saved flight, it won't work. thx! Re: Important question - DanSteph - 10-04-2005 I'm glad you ask this because this feature is ready since one week only... I had doubt I can do this but I finally found a way to save/restore completely a FsP flight. So yes you can quit a long flight "end flight - Save flight" and resume it when you want.... Even if you don't hit " end flight -Save flight" there is an Autosave feature that will save your flight every 60 secondes or 5 mn depend of your setting (you can disable it also) There is somes limitation anyways: 1-Sorry, Autosave or Save will not work on unregistred FsP (protection issue) 2-Save are deleted when your flight is finished and you register it (end of flight report -> register) 3-Save are deleted when you start a fresh flight This to avoid "cheating" save are only meant to allow you to continue a flight or resume a flight if you encountered problem with Fs2004 (crash or such) Dan Post Edited ( 05-11-05 14:02 ) Re: Important question - colincm - 10-04-2005 Sounds good Dan!!! ![]() |
