A couple of questions from a soon-to-be customer - MatsH - 14-07-2005 Hi all! First of all, FsPassengers seems to be what I've been waiting for without ever knowing it before. ![]() I have tried the demo a few times and I'm compleatly sold. However, there are a couple of questions I would like to have answered before buying. The first one is hard to describe but it seems like a "screenshot" is taken the moment I start FsP, and whenever I for example look to my left in the cockpit, for a brief moment I see this screenshot before the left view is displayed. The screenshot shows the panel at the moment of starting FsP with whatever windows I had open at the time (radiostack etc) and I can se the gate outside the window. Never mind this second question. I have solved it by reading the forum more closely. My second question regards the flightnumber. When I start a new company I get to choose a Flight prefix or select an ICAO code, for example UA for United Airlines. The problem I have here is that FS ATC does not recognize this code, so instead of calling me "United 722" I'm being called "Uniform Alfa 722". If I leave the field blank, a random flight number is created (as described in the info). Is there any way to get the program not to change the flightnumber and use the one in the aircraft.cfg instead? I hope you understand what I'm trying to describe and that I have posted this in the right forum. Kind Regards .... Mats, Sweden EDIT: If I had read more then the first page of topics I would have found the answer to question number2. Sorry about that. ![]() Post Edited ( 07-14-05 15:28 ) Re: A couple of questions from a soon-to-be customer - kayle411 - 14-07-2005 Post Edited ( 07-22-10 08:51 ) Re: A couple of questions from a soon-to-be customer - MatsH - 14-07-2005 Thank you for your answer. I managed to solve my problem in an other way that I found in an earlier thread. I didn't realise that there are four pages of topics in this part of the forum (missed the small numbers at the top) so I just looked through the topics posted on the first page. However, I still have no idea what causes my first problem. Anyway, I went along and bought the program so now I'm off flying around scandinavia and other parts of the world with passengers. Cheers .... I love this add-on, and right now I'm in a Cessna just east of SAAB Linköping, on my way from EKCH to ESSA ![]() Re: A couple of questions from a soon-to-be customer - MatsH - 14-07-2005 Hi John_Krist! It's good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this "screnshot-effect". And I don't use Active Camera, so I think you can rule that out. I looked on the cockpit clock on this screenshot and it's the exact time I started FsP. The strange thing though is the following: I just took a MD-87 flight from ESSA to ESGG, and during the climb and cruise I got this screenshot showing the gate at the time I started FsP, but as soon as I started my decent this screenshot got replaced by another, this one showing the panel in cruise, right before my decent (once again I checked the clock). Anyway, it's a small thing and the program is simply amazing! I just finished my first complete flight and I can't wait to start another. Well done all who are involved in this! ![]() Cheers .... Mats Re: A couple of questions from a soon-to-be customer - AltairZQ - 14-07-2005 Hey this screenshot effect sounds like something that happened to me... I can't remember what it was, but I do remember I was forgetting something in FsP, so it was waiting for me to close or fill a window in FsP... sorry I can't be more specific my memory is not getting any better. |
