[SOLVED] Unable to Activate Flight Plan in Level-D767-300 FMC - Michael_B737-800_ATP - 14-07-2005

Hi Guys,

Well I tried to use FSPassengers for the first time today, I am unable to Activate my flight plan when using Level-
D767-300. I press the activate
button but nothing happens.

Anyone else have this problem?., if so, is there a fix?.

Thanks
Mike

Re: Unable to Activate Flight Plan in Level-D767-300 FMC - crash_continental - 14-07-2005

Just flew with the Level-D 767-300 yesterday, flight plan activated perfectly for me (although MSFS did crash midway throughthe flight.
Hopefully a one time thing).

I had a few problems with the 767 until I made the default panel start-up the 'cold & dark' set-up. If you haven't done this, I'd highly
recommend it.

It's a complicated product so every so often there are problems... just trying again is the only thing I can suggest. Hope it goes well...

p.s. My only concern with the Level-D 767 is that the lights don't function on the regular 'Control-L' and 'O' keys mapped to MSFS's default
light assignments. You have to flick them manually and apparently the light don't register in the same place (in memory, or whatever) as
the majority of aircraft models do. Will this mean a light penalty?

I cant answer you, only to say that the flight plan loads perfectly well for me also.

Mike,

I'm an avid LDS-763 pilot. I have not had too many issues with the 763 and FPS. I agree with Crash. I always start up
Dark_APU_Running.

Here is my preflight:

1. Setup your flight plan (I use FSBUILD)
2. Create a flight.
3. Load the flight into FS9 (If flying online this is not needed)
4. Start the flight
5. Call us the Cold and Dark or Dark APU Running panel for the LDS.
6. Open the Cabin door.
7. Start your normal preflight powerup.
8. Call us FSP and start loading passengers. (I use 10-20 min load time)
9. Turn on the pleasing music for the loading passengers.
10. Continue your preflight. Align FMC.
11. program FMC with flight Data (I will call up the saved company flight plan from FSBuild once the FMC is aligned)
12. Contact ATC for IFR clearance.
13. Finish Preflight checklist.
14. Pax loaded (Check door closed)
15. contact tower for push back and taxi.
16. Contact pushback crew for push back and engine start.
17 During push back start engines.
18. Taxi and continue checklist until complete.
19. take off.

Thats a ruff list of what I do and I've never had a problem with the FMC routes and FPS.

Hope that helps.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the responses, I found the problem. It turns out that my FSBUILD's KDEN-KATL flightplan is corrupt. I created a new one and the problem is
solved.

Thanks Guys

Mike
