[Solved] getting to be kinda tedious and frustrating - briansommers - 10-07-2005
im trying to use the pmdg b1900c freight version
ok i have loaded in the defualt 1900d ini file and have made changes to that to reflect the freighter version, but then
when i use that plane
and load it out,
it first says passengers are boarding, i dont want passengers i want freight! i know i can leave the sliders down to
0 for passengers and
crank up the cargo and thats what i do
but the biggest problem is it doesnt recogonize the front cargo area just the rear cargo
and yes i have defined the front cargo area in the ini file
can someone please help,
i thought this program is suppose to work with ALL AIRCRAFT AND CARGO!
it needs to have the option to load cargo like it loads passengers.

ini you sent seem find.
is the "Beech 1900C Freight" payload model appear in the left box of payload model ?
if not it's a problem with your ini renaming... the keyword don't match...
tips :
if your aircraft is called
"PMDG 1900 Whatewer Is the Livery"
the following ini name will work:
PMDG.ini
1900.ini
livery.ini
PMDG 1900 whatewer is the livery.ini
this will NOT work:
PMDG 1901.ini
PMDG 1900c whatewer is the livery.ini

Just to clarify this - for example if I had a payware model
Title=Realair Scout (paint)
If I make my name "Realair Scout.ini"
It will work for
Title =Realair Scout Orange
Title =Realair Scout Blue
Title =Realair Scout Teal

Yes. And a payload named "Realair Scout.ini" will work for "Orange realair scout" as well. But not for "Realair-scout". It will work for
any "realair scout" exact occurences.

ok I finally found the problem
the pmdg b1900C and the cargo and freighter versions, in the aircraft config all had this: (or something like this)
pmdg Beech 1900C - Freighter - VC
ok the problem was the dashes, once i got rid of that it looks like this
beech 1900c freighter vc
and thats the name i used for my ini file, NOW IT WORKS!
so thats a thing you have to look at carefully!
problem solved, finally, whew that was a tough one.
