Help! Migrating my flights to new FS9 installation - clarkent - 21-09-2007 Hi all! I'm backing up my files right now and planning to do some fresh windows installation. I have to reinstall everything including my FS9 and FSpassengers.. Now, i wonder what are the files I need to back-up from FSPASSENGERS so that my old flights and settings will be retained and transferred to new FSP installation. I need your help.. Thanks you in advance! Let's Fly! Re: Help! Migrating my flights to new FS9 installation - Canada_Boy - 21-09-2007 To be on the safe side I would just back up the whole FSP folder, different things are stored in different sections. The database has all you flights in it. If you have extra voice packs, logos, add in names etc etc.. They are all in different folders. This will also keep you from having to re-download FSP. If all you want if to keep only your flights and pilot/company info, you just need to back up the folder named "Database", then re-download/install FSP and overwrite the existing folder named "Database". Hope it helps |
