Hi Dan i understand the hard work however is there a chance that you could release a update so that we can convert from fspassengers 2004 to X if we
have previously bought.
OR..
You can allow old unlock codes to be used on new product if we email with proof as i only bought it 3-4 months ago and i dont want to buy it again for
X if you know what i mean im sure other people are thinking the same

If you read the forum previously (I've seen your name here long enough now) then you know this has been discussed many times and that it is probable
you need to pay for FsPassengers X.
If you don't want to, you should have thought about that before purchasing FsP.
If I want the new Toyota Yaris I don't go to the dealer to show my old one, so I can get the new one for free.

spose even if he brought out a small update charge to get it upgraded for all previously purchased software owners.
And i did read the post on FS Passengers "X" just couldnt find anything so i thought id ask unless i missed it

Yeah, I have to agree. Like you mentioned Taso, it isn't like you can go into a car dealership and trade in your old car for a new one, at no charge.
With all the hard work Dan has put into FSPassengers "X" it wouldn't be far(to him) to have both for the price of one.
I think the rebate for the upgrade is a good idea though (like Dan has mentioned) and if you want both pay for both.

One wouldn't even have to go so far and compare to car dealers (and as a matter of fact, I'd feel insulted would someone compare me to car dealers).
This is entirely normal in the software industry. I think I paid 3 or 4 times now for the upgrade of VMware, and several times for new GPS map sets,
CD and DVD authoring software, Video editing, you name it. I do expect a rebate when I upgrade from a previous version, but have to admit that as a
customer one can only demand a rebate if one would have the option to chose a different product. And I don't know of any alternative to FsPax.
