I don't know about everyone else, but occasionally there is a thread that comes along and does not fit in to any of the current forums. I
think there should be a Screenshot/Video forum, a Off Topic forum, and a Software/Hardware forum. Some people (not most people, but
some) post their screenshots of FS2004 in the FSPassengers General forum, and in my opinion they should be in the FS2004 General
forum. But with this Screenshot/Video forum, it would solve all these problems! Also as everyone knows, there are some threads that
have nothing to do with Flight Simulation. For example, Drew's motorcycle (no offense Drew, it was the first thing that came to mind).
Drew's bike has nothing to do with Flight Simulation, but with a Off Topic forum, he would have a special thread just for that kind of stuff.
Last but not least, the Software/Hardware forum. I have been seeing a lot more "Buying a new computer," and "Battlefield 2" threads
lately, and although "Buying a new computer" is some how related to Flight Simulator, it does not really fit in with the FSX General forum,
and neither does "Battlefield 2." With the Software/Hardware forum, all of these alike threads will have a place of their own. So in
conclusion, FSPassengers Forums will be a lot more organized, and there will not be weird threads wondering around where they don't
belong. Again, this is my opinion, but I would like to hear what everyone else thinks about this subject!

I was told by Dan quite a while ago, to use the fs2004 also as a general chat forum, thats why i posted it there

Yes i agree, i have requested a general forum before, but on the other side of things (my bike was a one off) you have to think of the amount of c***
that would be posted in such a forum.

thats actually a good idea to have the screen shot and video forum because Joe, Josh, aristotles are all great screenshot addicts (did I

Dont think you understood.
In fs2004 now you only get a offtopic (not fs2004, or fs2004 related (screenshots are related - so are pc upgrades as they are all towards enhancing
fs9)) thread once in a while.
Just scanned through fs2004 forums 1st page and see nothing thats not related.
IF you had a general forum, you would get totally random threads daily (as opposed the the infrequenty thread like mine) You will end up seeing thread
titles such as - joke - pics of my cat - i had a mcdonalds today - guess what i did today - anyone seen this new movie - who is your favourite singer
etc etc
I belive Dan wishes to keep the site as much aviation related as possible, but allows the odd not topic thread

I think a screenshot/video forum would be a good idea. If you want to look at eyecandy (or just some inspriation) that's where you go.
Maybe some rules (e.g.e where a vide/pic was taken & other details (e.g. Plane X by aouthor Y landing at airport Z)).
As for an 'off-topic' forum - I'm not so sure? When I want to disucss other things I'd go to another forum/wbsite.
