Wondering: Anybody uses time schedule? - Anastasios - 07-09-2006 Hi all, I was just wondering. A few days ago I uploaded something in the download section and some people downloaded it. It was a time schedule I made which you can use with FsP. I was wondering if people are using it and how they experience it. Is it really useful for you? Hope to hear from somebody soon. Anastasios. Re: Wondering: Anybody uses time schedule? - walterp - 07-09-2006 What is it? Re: Wondering: Anybody uses time schedule? - Anastasios - 07-09-2006 It is in the download section. Just something small I made you can use to fly FsP with a time schedule. Anastasios. Re: Wondering: Anybody uses time schedule? - walterp - 07-09-2006 Maybe I am having one of my thick days, but what does it do? Thanks Anastasios !!! One more question and one comment: DO you give remarks (in real life) on the different times when you file them, such as delayed departure, strong headwinds etc ? If it was YOU who landed the 37 in the video I have the slight impression that you deployed reversers a tad too early (Nosewheel still in the air). In case of asymetric thrust (due to a failure in the reversers for example) you'll be in all kind of doo-doo as you have none or little means to counteract the momentum this way ![]() I am not sure if it would even be possible IRL. I know there are switches on the maingear that prevent airborne reverse thrust but in all honesty I do not know if this is also the case with the nosegear ![]() Greetz Carsten Re: Wondering: Anybody uses time schedule? - Anastasios - 08-09-2006 Quote:Ceemosp wrote: Do you mean when there is a delay in real life (transavia)? If you mean this, if there is a delay in real life both the purser and the captain need to report what the reason is. About weather there is a difference however. Every flight has it's own standard flying time. For a destination the company gives a flying time. Let's say 2 1/2 hours for Amsterdam - Faro. This is also the time passengers see on their ticket. On the day itself you will get to see your real flying time. This can be longer or shorter, depending on the weather. Often strong head- or tailwinds during flight. So it is possible that this flight can be 2 hours and 50 minutes. This is not a delay however, just an adjusted flying time as the return trip will be 2 hours and 10 minutes. About the landing in the video. Yes, it was me and I landed the plane fully in passenger view, so it wasn't so good. About the reverser I do know it is normal to use it when nose gear still in the air. I have been in the cockpit a few times with take-off and landing and one captain did use the reverser while nose still in the air. I also asked him about it and he told me it was normal. You only have to make sure you pull up a bit as the nose will be pulled down as a result of using the reverse (which I didn't do enough on the video as my nose gear slammed on the ground ghehe). I hope you will enjoy my time schedule!!!! Thanks for downloading it. Anastasios.
