Logos not appearing on created companys? - Soar8 - 30-08-2006
Ola everyone:
I created a company BA and all went well and of course a new Pilot as well. When I then went to active it no logo appeared, I then loaded the BA logo
into the logo folder and it still not there. On the read me file it explains that I have to change it from JEPG to jpg, but looking at all the logos
I found that they all in JEPG format including the logos World Travels which is active by default, Maybe my mistake was creating the company before
installing the logo?. Could someone please explain to me how do I go about this, I am new to this and I suppose that I have a lot to learn.

The default logos are all in JPG format!
If you follow exactly the instructions given in the logo directory you should succeed!
HOW TO ADD YOUR COMPANY OR PILOT LOGO

The logo must be in JPG format with a size
of exactly 181x44.
The logo must have the exact same name as your
pilot or company and with ".jpg" at the end
( not "jpeg" ).
Example:
You want to add a logo for the company "Air Travel".
You must add in this logo folder a jpg image
with the name "Air Travel.jpg".
If you want to add a logo for your pilot "Barry Ellington"
you must add a jpg image with the name "Barry Ellington.jpg".

Thanks for the input Enzo, after posting my question I managed to figure it out, all I needed to do was restart FS 2004 and there it was the BAlogo that had eluded me. Now I can concentrate on learning more about FsP. This is a good forum. I like it !.

the exact size of 181x44? I tried using IrfanView but I can't get it exactly to 181x44.

When changing your picture size be sure that you have disabled the "proportional change".

You can do it in MSPAINT. Click start, run then type 'mspaint' (without speechmarks) then click attributes and type in the size of the image
there. Hope that helps.
