Squawk Codes - Captain_Smith - 08-06-2006

You know on FSP how theres different Squawk Codes, for hi-jack etc....

Does anyone have a list of all of them, I want to experiment Hot Big Grin

Sure, check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transponder_code

Re: Squawk Codes - Captain_Smith - 09-06-2006

Cool thanks a lot, do you know if these work with FSP?

Re: Squawk Codes - m_estrugo - 09-06-2006

As far as I can tell, FS isn't responsive to emergency squawk codes. I just tried to see what happened if I changed the code to 7700, and the ATC kept
asking me to change it back to my assigned code until he got tired and said 'ATC services terminated'.

I don't believe they work with FsP, or FS, but they work online if you fly on VATSIM or IVAO.

Re: Squawk Codes - crowebird - 09-06-2006

They have an effect in FsP... if you have an emergency you must set Squawk code to 7700 if the feature is enabled or you will recieve a
penalty, setting the squawk to 7500 will give you a fine...

Re: Squawk Codes - ivo - 10-06-2006

yes, some(like 7700) work with FsP. I don't believe other do, however.
