is there a way to save your pilot records befor &ltformat pc&gt - david123 - 13-05-2006

would any one know is there a way to save your history ect copy and save a file out of fsp and then repaste the file in after renstall of
windows
or are you going to have to start from scratch again

copy your database folder in the fspassengers map , this database contains everthing about your company , pilot , stats,...

I just copy the whole FS Passengers folder located in the Microsoft Games>FS9 folder. Sure it's about 25 megs of hard drive space but
in todays hard drive standards that's not much. I've also got some modified taxi music in there too. It's just easier for me to grab the
whole folder and back it up that way.

so after you install fs passengers again ,i take it you just remove the old folder and paste your org folder there ?

as you say, your better off completely deleting the database folder and then copying the back up one back over
