C5, Ghost License? - vidasies - 06-02-2017

I have reached the C5 license and I can't find any airplane to flight. Documentation says "Certified Any aircraft type less than 44092 lbs" but, none of many airplanes I have installed which have a lower weight and payload can be flown. So, that makes meĀ ask, Is C5 a "Ghost" license"?

What do you mean that you can't fly any aircraft installed? Do you get an error message or? No, you don't have a ghost license and this is not a support issue unless you are getting errors or crashes of the sim because of FsP. Maybe you should expand on the type of aircraft you are trying to fly that are under 44092 lbs.

I have one Dash-7 installed which empty weight is 26750 LBS and the Max Gross Weight is 44000 LBS and when I try to buy it, FsP says that I cannot do it because any of my pilots are certified. That's one example, the same happens with other airplanes.

What other airplanes are you referring to other than the Dash 7? What about the King Air 200 or 300? Getting the same message?

Well sir, I bought the Carenado King 350 and it works with the C4 Certification.

Yes, but does it also work with C5 level? That was essentially my question.

RE: C5, Ghost License? - vidasies - 07-02-2017

I understand you point, but, the C5 certification must let me fly new type of airplanes according to their weight but it doesn't, the planes I should be fliying are avaiable with C6 certification and for me that might be a mistake. That's why I wrote this post, because that's not normal.

Ok, so you haven't tried to fly the King Air while a C5. I get it. Next thing...have you looked at the aircraft.cfg of the Dash 7 to see what is listed as the max gross weight? If it shows over the 44092 lb range, adjust the MGW value lower (make a backup of the aircraft.cfg first). Maybe that could be the issue here, but I'm not sure.
