South African? lol

Nah, some airlines do offer a full study and bind you for a few years of ACTIVE flying with the airline. I will never recommend it though.
Although I'm still with the airline that paid for my MEJ and beyond........ Wonder

Glad I got my PPL on my own and my MEP from Fokker Aviation or I would be too biased lol

why dont you recommend it ? because its too expensive here and my dad isnt going to pay for it :S . but whatever happens , there's a program with royal
jordanian that lets you join them (they will pay for everything) if you have a bachelor degree in a scientific discipline

It will bind you to the 'respectful' ways of an airline instead of becoming a true and ready pilot.
Do not get me wrong, there are a lot of good airlines out there that can offer you the same thing but also remain open for you to leave if
you feel you can do better elsewhere.

I am not aware of RJs policy and their internal education but they differ quite a bit from the long and hard studies you can get in the west,
no pun intended. Due to the extremely crowded airspace in western EU and the USA, pilots there are trained to the highest standard
plainly because there is no other option.

Let me ask you about your education thus far? Any good marks in science, mathmatics and/or chemistry?

i got straight A's . thats great , but im going to study industrial engineering then im going to learn flying , because actually i want a degree
incase anything bad happens in the future not just a license . but im actually considering studying in Canada in Vancouver its called ProIFR . its
cheaper and it has a good reviews . btw where are you from? and are you a real pilot ?

Re: the airline pays for you to study and become apilot! - Tracker801 - 10-06-2009

The company and my license and ratings say I am, Joeflyr says Im not at times lol
Take your time to decide.
And as for where Im from... a little south of where some Turkish jockey tried to land a 738.....

tracky no , he's just a pro world tour boozer lol I also know from people who got their flight training paid by the company that there salary
is much lower then a pilots salary from who paid it by themselfs this to regain the cost that they had to put in you first before you started to
be profitable for hem.

Hush Nicky Wink
That you got your PPL and married now doesn't mean you're WT material just yet Big Grin

Re: the airline pays for you to study and become apilot! - abd zibdeh - 10-06-2009

i know that , but its just the idea of paying 120000 dollars at once is bull***! and btw the average income here per month 600 USD . and a great
salary per month is around 3-6 thousend dollars and our city is reallllly expensive just a little bit less than london:S
