PilotsNetwork - crowebird - 10-07-2007 OK so I started this as my new flight site project, and its coming along nicely... anyway, is anyone interested in it? Information is on the site http://www.pilotsnetwork.com Theres still some features I have yet to put in it, but im also interested in hearing what the user would like. So any feedback would be good... thanks ![]() Re: PilotsNetwork - JayKae - 10-07-2007 Looks interesting Michael but I was really looking forward to the FsPVA and that never eventuated unfortunately, how big will the chance be that this will have the same fate ? Other than that looks VERY promising mate ![]() Re: PilotsNetwork - crowebird - 10-07-2007 idk, things with FsPva really fell away from me becuase it was just turning into 'just another va' so i decided to trash it and go for somthing really different. The ideas of this have evolved alot, but im hoping this will be the chance that will bring people who just want to have a place to log hours and the people who want to be part of a full out va under one network. Odds of this falling through are very slim just becuase I have put alot of work into FsPva and this and I want to see it finished. FsPassengers and a pirep system are fully implemented as of now and im working on a profile system. (in a way this started out as a type of facebook for online flying, but evolved alot from that, I just realllly hope it works :p) Thanks for the compliment though. Re: PilotsNetwork - Valoran - 10-07-2007 Tell us more. Will there be a fleet and a schedule VA or will it be a casual free-flight FSPAx environment similar to the one here? I'm interested as long as I don't have to fly on-line to "fit in". ![]() Re: PilotsNetwork - crowebird - 10-07-2007 It is whatever you want it to be. You can fly online, or you can fly offline... you fly the routes you want on the aircrafts you want. If you are interested in a fleet/schedule VA, then there will be a section (still under construction) which will allow users to create 'inside virtual airlines' where they set their own rules and then users can join different vas inside the PilotsNetwork as they wish. The idea is to attract casual flight simmers and flight simmers who want to fly an extremely realisitc approach. Eventually there will also be a route system to help users find routes, but they by no means have to follow them. So far the pirep reporting system (where you can manually report a flight, or upload via FsPassengers) is working and a demo account has been created so anyone who is interested can see the current completed basis behind the website. Login at http://www.pilotsnetwork.com with username: demo and password: demotest Theres still alot that needs to be done, but it gives an idea of what it will be like. Why not wait a bit until there is actually stuff to see? Re: PilotsNetwork - FsP Dennis - 10-07-2007 I've send you a mail about errors from the demo user. Looks like you got a good site there just fix those 404's ![]() Re: PilotsNetwork - Joeflyer - 10-07-2007 Quote:FsP Dennis wrote: I'm following you around, Dennis....get your butt back over to the WT and get caught up! ![]() Re: PilotsNetwork - crowebird - 10-07-2007 lol, its becuase I wanted user feedback on what they think is good from whats completed and get suggestions on what they would like to see. Iv developed this entire site and have all these set ideas on what I want and have had no outside input. Re: PilotsNetwork - crowebird - 10-07-2007 oh hey, i just realized there was one mistake that i made last night, which made you miss half of the FsP reporting system (when you clicked on [view logs] it didnt take you to the right page :/ for example you shoula made it here: http://www.pilotsnetwork.com/?page=logbook_member&id=1 (granted your logged in) Post Edited ( 07-10-07 16:40 ) Re: PilotsNetwork - crowebird - 26-07-2007 bump up -> updated, all 404 errors are either fixed or just removed from the navigation. just looking for opinions. login: demo password: demotest Post Edited ( 07-26-07 08:48 ) |
