Virtual airlines? - Karl41 - 07-03-2006 Can anyone recommend a good VA for me to hook up with. Would like one that dosent require me to sit exams or anything and with ATC. I need some training in jets and prefer the human touch rather than a manual. I am in the UK Thanks Re: Virtual airlines? - Anastasios - 07-03-2006 Try http://www.fspva.com ![]() Still developing however. Tasos. Post Edited ( 03-07-06 02:04 ) Re: Virtual airlines? - WBHoenig - 07-03-2006 We have a London hub, but there is one thing about the not wanting to sit exams. For a large plane (above the MTOW of 12,500) you have to take a checkride and export it via FsP, but the grading won't be the most strict in the world. Re: Virtual airlines? - 717-200 - 07-03-2006 http://www.atlanticsunairways.com No tests or anything, but, the only hub weh have in europe is in Schiphol, so, sorry about the lack of UK oppourtunities. However, Our fleet is, if I don't say so myself, is one of the best freeware fleets around. Just get yourself a Panel that suits you and have at it. The only thing that bothered me, is you need to be in certain ranks to be able to get certain a/c, but that's all. If this just isn't for you, then, Good luck on your search for a va that suits. I've been with several VAs over the years, and Atlantic Sun has been my favorite so far! It's very well run and offers a TON of variety without the overkill of too many different aircraft and flights that some VAs seem to offer. Re: Virtual airlines? - highlander - 09-03-2006 Lots of folks and lots of different aircraft (all brilliantly painted by Aussie painter Garry J Smith) over at Transload Airlines (http://www.transloadairlines.com) I'm not a member of any VA any more, but I hang around the Transload forums. I also used to be a member of AirWeGo (http://www.airwegogroup.co.uk), and they have some nice aircraft too (including a helicopter division called Vertigo). |
