Cargo flights ? - CDR - 22-10-2005 How do you setup a cargo flight ? I did a flight and aded only bagage ,no pasangers. The flight report came out . carge 0 pounds caried. CDR Re: Cargo flights ? - MattNW - 23-10-2005 Not sure it can be done. At least I haven't found a way to do it. What you could do however is load only one passenger and the rest cargo. Just say the passenger offered you cash because he just had to get somewhere fast. You don't even have to report the payment to the IRS. ![]() New product suggestion for Dan. Now that we have FSPassengers how about FSCargo? You could make it as an add on to FSP and give FSP owners a discount. Re: Cargo flights ? - Jetflyer - 24-10-2005 Create another copy of the plane you use, and edit its payload file, in the stations 1-4 for passengers disable these and just insert a cargo quantity only, on loading the plane with FSP it should work perfectly OK with just cargo and no passengers. Re: Cargo flights ? - SWAFO - 24-10-2005 This has been discussed at great length on the forum in the past. Perhaps a forum search would help you out ![]() Re: Cargo flights ? - Ryanamur - 24-10-2005 Yes, you have to move the cargo sliders just the same as you would for a passenger flight. Now keep in mind that this must be done in the FsP load menu and NOT in the Fs2004 load menu. Re: Cargo flights ? - SaVas - 24-10-2005 I use the Captain Sim C-130 and the MAAM Sim R4D6 (DC-3) for cargo runs. The C-130 has a crew of 10 on average so no money from thecrew, but I load the cargo bay with as much as they can hold from time to time. I like to have fun and imagine that sometimes I am just delivering supplies to some far out in the tundra hunters/fishermen, and pick up their catch for the return, and in the C-130 I am on humanitarian runs in 3rd world countries, though my poor fleet of C-130s are getting shot up thanks to war zones in both Africa and South America. *grins* Re: Cargo flights ? - poden - 24-10-2005 I have heard there's another FS addon being created, FSCargo. Don't know too much about it yet, but it could be interesting. Meanwhile, the cargo-only capability in FSP is actually pretty good. Re: Cargo flights ? - SaVas - 24-10-2005 My newest [used] C-130 (I get them well used to make it more interesting), will be flying from Santiago, Chile, to a base in Antarctica today when I get home. I have been hired (in my imagination) to run some supplies onto a research base there. I just need a ski version of the C-130 from CS and I will be set. (I do have the Alpha Simulations CF-130 with the ski package I might use for now) |
