Overspeed - force - 16-10-2005

Hello,

Sometimes get I a Overspeed warning inflight. In the Flightreport after my landing I can read that I was to fast or something similar nearly
each time.

The problem is that the overspeed comes by a wind gust in large height.
It's would better, if fsp would recognize if it's the debt by pilot or by the wind gusts.

Regards,
force

Re: Overspeed - Sovek - 16-10-2005

This is no doubt caused by the stupid wind shifts, I once had it my back, then the next second its right in front me, AT 60KTS !!!! wow wow To fix it
either disable the penalty (like I have done, since I dont overspeed intentionly) in the more_config.cfg file, or use FSUIPC to fix it (nees to be
registered first, I would rather disable the penalty than shell out $30 just to fix one problem)

Re: Overspeed - force - 16-10-2005

okay I have done it now. Thank's a lot.

Hi,

I bought a new gauge: Weather Radar Top.
It shows at least the areas of bad weather which allows you to slow down before you enter a 'red' area.

I bought it too recently to tell you wether it fixed the problem...
I just made one flight and had clear sky...

The Gauge is a simulated Collins WXR2100 gauge from Add On Gauges (http://members.chello.at/addongauges).

Greetings,
Christian

Yes, but you see, there are more and more freeware and payware devs that are using FSUIPC nowadays and several are requiring a
regstered version of it.

FSUIPC fixes a lot of the woes in FS9 default, and has a lot of fine tuning one can do in the sim.

I think weather radar needs a registered FSUIPC to work anyway. Unless this particular gauge, post above in this thread, is something new.
