Helicopter landing - Kstinson - 25-08-2005

It would be great if you could land a helicopter on a building roof but whenever I try, it just says building crash. Can you actually land on a
building roof of is my helicopter flying that bad? Also, if you cant land on a rooftop, what would you have to alter to make that possible?

Thanks for your help

I think it depends upon the scenery type whether it was dynamically created or staticly added. For example, there are several oil rigs off
the coast of Louisiana that are landable.

I'm not the one to answer this question though...I could crash the thing on a 5000 sq mile parking lot.

If you turn on "Show aircraft shadow" from FS options, any building you can see a shadow on you can land on. FS is rather touchy about
vert speed on contact....slow and easy does it. If you can't see a shadow under the chopper, you'll just float right through the roff and crash
onto the people inside the building.
