Re: The Terminal - SWAFO - 24-08-2005

That must suck! Suprised he hasn't killed himself yet!

Re: The Terminal - FlyBoy2 - 24-08-2005

Yes I have not only seen the movie but I also met the guy on my last trip tp Paris, He is a very intellegent man and very soft spoken.

The Movie doesn't do his real life justice.

Re: The Terminal - SWAFO - 24-08-2005

It's based on a true stroy? Had no idea...

Re: The Terminal - pagir - 24-08-2005

Yep, "true" storie, (but the real story is much different). You can read the nem's link about that.

Re: The Terminal - SWAFO - 24-08-2005

Yeah, I did... thought it sounded like the movie, although I believe the movie took place in America, etc. Quite a few differences

Re: The Terminal - nem - 24-08-2005

Well, after all Spielberg normally doesn't do documentaries. Wink
But if you read the whole page (rather long, I know) you'll see at the bottom that it really is the story the movie was based on.

Re: The Terminal - Jetsgo - 24-08-2005

The Terminal is based on this story, but the man is trapped in JFK. He's trapped because while he's on the plane to New York, his
country falls apart aswell as their government, and it is then declared a different country. The man litterly has no background, and no
country. He has no nationality. If you haven't seen it, it's with Tom Hanks. Check it out.

Re: The Terminal - SaVas - 24-08-2005

Surprisingly it was a great movie, but then again Hanks is a great actor

Re: The Terminal - Jetsgo - 24-08-2005

While the man is living in JFK, he becomes firmiliar with a passion for building and constructing art. He then attempts to re-model
an old terminal. Lol, it's a funny movie, but it's also really great to. If you havn't seen it, watch it!

Thats pretty sad, I feel bad for the guy. He seems happy enough though.

Life goes on.
