[TOPIC MOVED] A weird happening........ - Mattyboom - 08-08-2005

Ealier, I was on a flight, when suddenley, the autopilot just cut out, didnt make a noise, just stopped working, then
for 5 minutes the autopilot and
the SPEED indicator, was not working, then 5 minutes later the both came back.

Nothing appaered in the In Fligh Report, so what was it?

Re: A weird happening........ - DBE - 08-08-2005

I'd say that if nothing was mentioned in your Flight Report then it was a FS2004 problem... Which aircraft was it?

Re: A weird happening........ - Mattyboom - 08-08-2005

It was a Beech 1900D, i have no failures turned on in FS, never have

Re: A weird happening........ - DBE - 08-08-2005

Doesn't have to be failure, could simply be a "glitch".

Re: A weird happening........ - Ryanamur - 08-08-2005

FsPassengers doesn't touch the autopilot so it was something else.

Topic moved.

Has anybody died on this plane of yours? if so it could be posesed...or maybe you were just struck by lightning and it did something to
your electrical.

what was the weather like, something similar happened to me but it was only the airspeed indicator, but it was so because the weather
condition was snowing and really cold, and i had to turn on the pitot heat, im not sure if u hav the same problem, but its possible

Same here. It is probably due to icing. Me myself got totally blinded flying here in Sweden (set to winter, of course). Had to turn de-icing on to get
my instruments working.
