some 2nd thoughts - Navymmw - 04-10-2006 I was 100% positive I was going to buy FSX the day it was released, but now im haveing 2nd thoughts, what does everyone else think, should I buy it or wait a couple of months. Re: some 2nd thoughts - jeremy19446 - 04-10-2006 I am waiting a few months until all payware compatibility have compatibility, and after Microsoft have released a patch. Post Edited ( 10-05-06 00:14 ) Re: some 2nd thoughts - Mac - 05-10-2006 I'm going to wait untill my PMDG stuff and FSP works with it (and when I have some money in my bank account!) Re: some 2nd thoughts - Airliner - 05-10-2006 Cash issue here too. I'm debating what the priority is also: FSX or Test Drive Unlimited. Hmm... Only because of the aforementioined patches and compatibility issues. Also, in case anyone's read the reviews on Pacific Storm, it's not ALL THAT. I got it the other day - posted it for sale on ebay this morning. ![]() It was reviewed on Flightsim.com - why I don't know. It is certainly NOT a flight sim type program. At best, it's like Rise of nations meets BF1942 only, less. With all details at their lowest settings, my system was crushed by a tactical battle near Midway with two Carrier Strike Forces (Carrier, couple BB's, few DD's few CA's and CL's + about 100 aircraft: Corsairs and SBD's). The first person is close to BF1942 but, lower quality and perfomance. You can fly the planes but, they - well, they suck! ![]() Japanese heavy bombers was flying with worse turning performance than a 747! I think they mixed up the aircraft dynamics with that of the ships! ![]() |
