Fuel Load - Eclipz - 06-05-2005 Hi I read the forum for about 3 weeks now and i must say i'm very impressed by your really excellent ideas and work. however, i've got a question for you Dan : FSP allows pilots to have "live" passengers load, does FSP allow to have the same function for fuel load ? That's to say : can we input in FSP the fuel quantity we want and see the fuel level increase on the gauges ? another add-on (i think it's "airliner env" or something like that) allow to fuel the aircraft but the function is badly realised : when you start refueling, it fills your fuel tanks to 100% in about 2 seconds and you can't determine which quantity you want. It would be great to be able to say "i want XXXX kgs (or lbs)" and then, if your engines ares off (it's important), see the fuel quantity increase in the tanks progressively (not in real time but in few minutes as for passengers). it's not an important function but i think it would increase realism... anyway, keep up the good work !!! Félicitations Dan et bon courage ![]() Vincent PS : in the manual, will you explain which problems require to declare an emergency situation ? PS 2 : sorry if my english is not correct, i'm french... PS 3 : if you need help for something... Message modifié ( 06-05-2005 23:45 ) Re: Fuel Load - DanSteph - 06-05-2005 Hello Vincent, Sorry yet there is no live fuel load and it's not planned before the final (I must stop adding feature else FsP will never come out) For fuel you move the green slider on the payload dialog and this fill your tanks instantly. You see also the CG arrow move as the weight and CG change. Anyway you can't see the fuel level increase but you can at least see it decrease if you have a fuel leak. (better for you to check fuel gauge often, nothing worse then being short on fuel at 10 miles of an airport because you didn't noticed the failure ![]() About failures procedure, basically when you hear passengers screaming... pull up the stick ![]() more seriously yes there will be in a help somes tips to manage the most serious failure, most of time you should act as in reality but the doc will tell you also what you need to keep an eyes on (fuel gauge, engine instruments) This Doc is not done already (doc have the less priority but all is prepared so they are easy to do) Hope this explain a bit ? Merci ![]() Dan Post Edited ( 05-06-05 23:54 ) Re: Fuel Load - Eclipz - 06-05-2005 thank you for the answer, very clear and complete ![]() of course i understand that you have to stop adding functions if you want to finish FSP before 2010 ! Have a good night. |
