Technically, Airbus would be Eastern since it's East of Greenwich Smile
lol
I despise Boeing more than Airbus
B737 all series = Eyesore, too many of them over here (Read: Boring)
B777 all series = Noisy, A340 is smoother and more silent from the inside
Probably the only Boeing made aircraft that I did not hate as much as the other is 747-400, although I would really love to see the A380
crush the 747-400 in the market.

Ok guys, I have to just chime in here and defend the big B a little...

I worked on Boeing 707's (Air Force KC-135R tankers) for 5 years ('90-'94) in Montana. Our oldest was built in 1953, and our newest was built in 1962. Our "R"
models have the big GE high bypass fans.

Last I heard the Air Force is planning on using the KC-135 until 2020. That is a very long time for an airframe.

I have personally flown one of our old birds at 0.98 mach 560 knots going from Alaska to Japan.

I have worked on Boeing, McD., Lockheeds, etc. And the Boeings are the best made large aircraft.

The funny thing is I have no interest in flying the big birds in flight simulator. Leave one big airport, just to see another big airport. No thank you. I want to do some
sight seeing on my trips.

No for me, and to make money in FSPassengers I'm going to stick with the singles. C206 or Piper Cherokee 6, then 8 seat Beaver, lastly the 11 seat PC-12.

Oh just FYI, the company I work for is a dealer for Pilatus and we have about 5 PC-12's based with us. I copied some POH stuff out of one that was built last
June! So if anyone wants know anything about the PC-12 I can get it for them.

Just my opinion...

Todd G.

Well, because I am only a C1, i'm currently enjoying the greats of the Lockheed AL-60 Smile

Out of FsP wow I am a fan of the A320, B777, 727, and the C-130 Smile

Its the "cargo" version but FsP allows up to 5 passengers in it (and 800lbs of Cargo Well ). With a small livery modification it could look quite nice.
I bought the plane as a celebration of me becoming C1 - I just can't stand that stupid 80 knot Cessna 172 any more! Wall

I also made a payload model for it and uploaded it to the file library here - just needs to be accepted Smile

I use the Mooney Bravo instead of the 172 or 182. Much faster.

Love that Norseman; I've flown it in FSP too.

Hooray it got accepted Smile

Thanks DanSteph

Re: OK guys, what aircraft do you fly? - poden - 29-11-2005

My current fleet:

Extra 400
Lake Renegade 270
Gippsland Airvan
Cessna 404
Aerocommander 680
Pilatus PC-12

I'm currently doing a "world tour" in the PC-12 (as opposed to just a circumnavigation). I've found that Mike Stone's Cessna 404 is an excellent
plane for FSP, as is his Gippsland Airvan. I've also come to the conclusion that I'll be re-doing the panel for every plane I fly.

Re: OK guys, what aircraft do you fly? - United844 - 29-11-2005

Airline United 99% reputaion the only plane i have is 757-200

Re: OK guys, what aircraft do you fly? - jon - 04-12-2005

B1900D
JS41
EMB120
Beech KA350

I started as c0, and currently c5. I had to switch airlines because my first company didn't have the cash for bigger birds. I started bigger
($30mil) company -CalypsAir- with fatter investors - named company after my boat (which is real), I plan to buy bigger as I crawl up the
food chain.
I fly only the EMB, the others are for fleet income. I hop around Northeastern US (KBGM (home), KBUF, KLGA, KDCA, KPHL). establish
regular routes and a good reputation fills up the plane at a decent pace. I rack up fist-fulls of $$ (except for that accidental MAYDAY - that
cost me $800k+ !!!!) When I get my next promotion, I'll ditch these birds and grab some Dash 8's, etc, and eventually rule the air. I'm only
in this for the money. My wife say "it's not real money!" what does she know?
